Payroll sounds very complicated, but it’s actually very simple. As you know, before paying your employee, there are deductions that have to be taken out of their paycheck (such as CPP, EI, taxes, etc.) These amounts, plus additional amounts that your company has to pay, have to be sent to the CRA either monthly or every three months.

To start off, we need all the details of each employee and how often they’re getting paid. Whenever it’s time to pay them, you send us the hours and we will make the paystubs for you, which detail how much they made, how much deductions were taken out, their year-to-date amounts, and exactly how much to pay them. We will also send you a document called PD7A which details exactly how much you have to send to the CRA – employer and employee portions. When it comes to sending these amounts to the CRA, we will guide you through the whole process so you understand exactly how it’s done. Once you see how it’s done a couple of times, it’ll be the last thing you stress about.

Absolutely! We know that things come up last minute and your employees need to be paid right away. It doesn’t matter what day it is; even if its after typical work hours, we’ll get you your paystubs. If we’re busy, we’ll get to it as soon as we’re free (which is usually within a few hours).
